About Bindi
It’s time for the stunning Bindi to find her forever home. This girl has a serious love for life and cannot wait to go on many fun adventures with her new family.
Bindi loves everyone she meets and is a very affectionate young lady. She came from a rural pound and initially was a little fearful of new people or new situations, but it didn’t take long for her personality to shine through. She can still be a little shy with the odd new person, but warms up quickly and then is up for lots of pats and belly rubs. She absolutely loves couch cuddles and hopes her new family enjoys spending quality evening time with their pooch relaxing after a good adventure during the day.
Bindi came into care with little training and her carers have been catching her up to speed. She does need further basic manners training as she does like to jump up when excited. Her leash work is coming along brilliantly and she knows her basic commands. She sleeps well in a crate throughout the night and is toilet trained. She is getting used to the car as it was a bit overwhelming at first, but with short, fun trips she’s starting to associate the car with fun outings. Bindi absolutely loves spending time with her owners learning new things and she is incredibly smart and extremely loyal.
Bindi is fantastic with other dogs. She is currently living with two large breed females and gets on with them perfectly. She has met various dogs out and about and has always been happy to say hello. She does prefer dogs who are happy to keep up with her energy. She would do great in a home with another playful, friendly and active dog to keep her company. Her new owners will need to continue her socialisation with other known, friendly dogs to ensure she grows up to be a friendly pooch.
Bindi is looking for an active family who will take her on lots of fun adventures. She will require a good amount of daily exercise and some mental stimulation to keep her content. If she doesn’t get enough mental or physical activity she can become a little destructive, but this is more so puppy behaviour which can be managed with the use of crates or putting away yummy objects when she can’t be watched. She will need a home with someone home more often than not, or at least while she settles in to ensure her needs are met and her new owners have the time to continue the fantastic work her carers have put into her to make her into the exceptional dog she is now.
Bindi is looking for a dog experienced family who will allow her inside to be part of the family and provide her a warm and comfy bed to sleep on inside of a night. She could live with dog savvy children as long as they won’t get upset if she jumps up on them. She will need to be provided a good quality diet, continued training and lots of fun outings.
If you are looking for an extremely loyal, active, cuddly and strikingly beautiful dog, then Bindi might be your girl. Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
