In the words of her lovely carer:

Hazel is such a friendly, loyal girl. She has very good recall.

She knows a few tricks. She knows: Sit, Shake, Other paw, High five and Lay Down. Her most favourite trick to show you is "Shake". Other commands she knows are: Stop, Go, Out, In, Toilet time and Up.

She loves to go for a walk and gets very excited if you tell her "walkies". She also loves to go for a drive in the car. She usually will walk besides you but if something exciting gets her attention, she may pull. Her attention can easily be redirected back to you.

She doesn't have food aggression except when she if she chewing on a bone and another dog approaches her with the intention of taking it. She will just growl at them.

She loves pats and loves laying beside you when sitting on the couch.

She is a little bit scared of water being put on her but she won't try to escape the shower if you are in there with her when giving her a wash. She loves to get in the kiddie pool at the dog park.

She has never attempted to escape the front or back yard even when unsupervised.
She will bark at people or things to alert you that they are nearby when she is at home. She does not do it when she away from her home.

She is:
✅ All dog friendly. She has been around little, medium, large and XL dogs. If a dog tries to hump her or steps on her front left paw (she broke her nail a week ago so it's a bit sore) then she will growl to let them know she's not happy. She currently lives with a male kelpie x staffy and a male mastiff x. She would be very happy if she gets adopted into a home with a dog she can play with.

✅ Kid friendly but she does sometimes knock them over when she's not paying attention. She currently lives with an almost 1 year old and an almost 5 year old.

✅ Cat friendly. She wags her tail, gives them a lick and may boop them with her nose if she wants them to play. She is still learning not to chase them when they run. She currently lives with a 9 week old kitten and 5 year old cat.

✅ People Friendly. She's never shown aggression to people. She will bark when they are at the door but she will stop as soon as gets to be with them.

✅ She is crate trained. She goes in the crate when told "in". She goes in the crate when her carer has to go out somewhere and also when it's bedtime.

✅ House-trained and Toilet Trained. She's currently living as an inside dog and goes outside to go to the toilet.
