Onix

Onix is a special girl who has been through some tough times. She was only 3 months when she was found in the street by some compassionate walkers and contacted us to take her to the vet. When she arrived, she was dehydrated, malnourished, and extremely scared of humans. Fortunately, she was placed in a loving foster home where she could receive the special care and nourishment that she needed to recover her strength.

Despite her foster's best efforts, Onix started to decline again after about a month and had to go back to the vet for additional care. But this courageous kitty never gave up! After two days of intensive treatment, Onix emerged happy, playful, healthy and strong. She loves nothing more than eating delicious food and playing with balls of wool - a true testament to her resilience!

Onix is still learning how to trust people and would benefit from an adopter who is patient enough to give her the time and space she needs to come out of her shell.
