Introducing Soup!

Soup is a cuddly little man that loves his people. He absolutely adores naps on the couch and will take any opportunity to snuggle up to his people. He doesn’t like be alone for long, so someone who is home most of the time would be ideal for him.

He absolutely loves car rides, even if it’s to nowhere. It seems he likes the journey rather than the destination, so he would love a forever home that enjoys taking him with them throughout their days.

From what we’ve seen it seems Soup likes the company of humans over other dogs. He’s been calm around other calm dogs, but loud bouncy dogs freak him out a bit. So his forever home would preferably have no other dogs or a very calm one. He doesn’t mind his foster brother cat at all, so cats are fine.

Soup loves going on light walks or throwing around the tennis ball. Most of the time he is calm and sleepy, but every now and then needs to let some zooms out. After 5 minutes or so he’s usually back to being a snuggle bug, but he loves his human to play with him when he’s in his zoomy state. He has quite short legs so he’s very funny jumping up on you trying to play.

Soup does have a grade 4 heart murmur which will need to be monitored. After his last vet visit he wasn’t prescribed any medication, and the vet was happy with his health in all other aspects. For this reason he’ll need to go to a home that is able to take care of him if his condition worsened.
