About Jack
Meet Jack, a 1 year old male Cattle Dog mix who is looking for his forever home! Jack is an active, affectionate boy who loves cuddles, belly rubs, going for walks, and exploring new places.
Jack knows his basic commands such as sit, drop, and wait for his dinner. He looks forward to his daily training and play sessions and his favourite games are with the flirt pole and tug! Jack has great manners and takes his treats very gently. He is toilet trained, crate trained, and sleeps peacefully through the night. Jack previously lived with dog-friendly cats, who can manage a friendly and active dog.
Jack loves his sniff walks and exploring nature. He loves jumping, climbing on rocks and logs, and running and walking through the shallows of the river. He is a lot more nimble than he looks and loves a physical challenge! He can be strong on lead at the beginning of his walks, so he will need a home who will continue working on his loose lead walking. Jack is friendly with other dogs, however he hasn't had much exposure to playing with them so is still learning proper dog manners and understanding when his furry pal want a break.
Jack is looking for an experienced working dog home who will be dedicated to his ongoing training. In turn, you will have a lovely, affectionate, active companion who is eager to explore the world (especially nature!)
If Jack sounds like the buddy you have been looking for then apply today!
**Jack is located in Victoria

You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa.
