Pedro - 8 Year Old Chihuahua X (On Trial)

Pedro is looking for someone who is full of love and affection like him.
This sweet angel loves to gaze at you while he nestles into your lap or his bed.
He’s happy to relax by your side or tag along to your outings! He’s easy going and tends to keep to himself during the day so would be okay with full time workers.

He loves everyone and is just so irresistibly cute, he gets picked up and cuddled by everyone that comes by the house.
Nearly all dogs encountered on walks has been met with a happy wagging tail and sniffs although he can be dog selective. A home as a second dog would have to be trialed with a meet and greet.

He is an inside dog so will need to be allowed access to most areas of your house. He’s been sleeping through the night in his bed on the floor of his foster carers room and close by on his bed in the lounge room during the day. If it was up to him, he’d be on your bed so it depends how much of his affection you want!

He holds his business until you take him outside but has been learning to use a dog flap to go out as he chooses. He’s good on the lead but pulls when there is something of interest. He loves his walks and sniffing the world and travels comfortably in the car. He’s not interested in playing with toys so will need regular walks and socialising to be stimulated. He is still learning basic commands and recall so continued training will be necessary. A secure yard and entry access

Pedro would suit someone who is after the sweet company of a loving dog and a little side kick to bring along when you want to get out and about.
Pedro has been an absolute pleasure to care for. He’s so small and quiet around the house sometimes you forget he’s there! As soon as you meet this fella, you’ll fall in love!

He is in foster care in Broadmeadow, NSW and is available for interstate adoption. Pedro's adoption fee is $500. He will be ready for his forever home after 10th May 2023.
