Our smart, active and people focussed kelpie pup Monty is ready to find a loving family. Monty is 14 weeks of age (DOB 13 January 2023).

Monty's foster carer reports that he is a cheeky pup with lots to learn though he picks things up very quickly. He loves playing with other dogs and is good at respecting their space. Monty is sensitive to corrections from other dogs and people. He is your normal excitable pup with a good amount of confidence.

Monty can take some time to warm up to new dogs and settle in but loves people and wants to follow us around all the time. He can keep himself occupied and knows how to settle when the house is calm. Understandably if you're moving around he wants to be involved in everything you're doing.

Monty sleeps through the night in his crate but is still working on his toilet training when inside during waking hours.

Monty loves being with his humans so doesn't like being left alone unless it's in his crate with something to keep him busy. As most pups his age, Monty is still developing his self control and basic manners. He also still jumps up on people, is in the mouthing stage and is still learning to walk on lead.

Monty has been flea and worm treated, desexed, microchipped and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $900.

Type of home Monty would suit;
✅️ Family that is active and committed to training a pup.
✅️ An indoor /outdoor lifestyle - Monty needs to continue his toilet training.
✅️ A well established and older dog that is tolerant of pups or regular socialisation with a dog.
✅️ Secure fencing to keep him safe.
❌️ Preferrably not left home alone for 7+ hours each day whilst people are working. Pups need lots of stimulation, guidance and socialisation.
❌️ No babies or toddlers in the home due to Monty's tripping hazard and mouthing stage.

This boy is super smart, active and cuddly.
