Hi! I'm Tippy and I'm looking for a new family to call my own.

NOTE: You are unable to meet Tippy until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Tippy in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.

What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family
• A patient family who'll allow me to grow in confidence in my own time.
• Being an only dog and getting all of your love for myself would suit me just fine. Otherwise an easy going submissive dog who just wants to chill with me should be ok too.
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
• Lots of love and attention
• Short regular walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• No young children as I can be food aggressive. Older children who understand this and will be involved with my training should be ok.
• I can be shy at first so I need a family who'll allow me to grow in confidence in my own time
• I have lots of energy so an active family is a must.
• SOCIALISATION is as important for me as it appears I've led a very sheltered life and can be a bit nervous/shy in new situations. Since being at the shelter I'm becoming much braver though. Taking me to lots of different places, meeting lots of people (children, men, woman etc) and meeting lots of dogs and other animals will help boost my confidence.


Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
• Small children due being very protective of my food.
• I Appear to be scared of Cats but may chase with confidence

My best features:

• Know how to Sit
• Gentle & placid
• I walk well on lead
• I am a generally well-mannered dog
• I love attention and having snuggles with my Humans
