Scabbers

Meet the ever so stylish Scabbers, with his flowing locks and quirky, active behaviour he has quickly stolen the hearts of all those who meet him.
Scabbers, despite being blind, can run around his enclosure quickly, practicing his acrobatics, halting only to hoover down his food. Scabbers LOVES meal time and leaves not a crumb, especially when fruit or veggies are on offer.
He truly has a signature look with his unique shaped noggin, luscious locks and lack of fully formed eyes! Scabbers may look different but behaves like any other guinea pig and is quite social with his surrounding piggy friends. Scabbers is currently in a temporary foster home with an elderly guinea pig friend, both get along quite nicely.
If you'd like to meet Scabbers please let us know in advance so we can make sure he visits the shelter the same day you plan on coming out.
