About Buddy
Buddy is a wonderful little dog looking for a calm and loving home. This adorable guy is super affectionate. Pats and cuddles are his favourite things, and his coat is oh-so-soft and snuggly. He really enjoys being as close to his family as possible. Buddy loves playing with chew toys, playing fetch and snuggling on the lounge. He is adorably cheeky and has a very cute way of chomping his teeth together to make a noise if he wants attention.
An owner who is home often would be perfect for Buddy, but he is likely content to occupy himself while you're out for a while. He does try to contain his excitement and use his best manners, but he can't help jumping up and greeting his favourite humans when they return. However, he will happily sit and accept pats when asked.
Buddy has lived with a small dog in the past, so he may be happy to live with another friendly and calm dog again in his new home. The noise and excitement of little children might be a little overwhelming for Buddy's gentle nature, but kind school-aged children might be a good fit.
Buddy only requires moderate exercise and enjoys walking around the block or to the park daily. He will require regular grooming, and he enjoys this. Buddy is crate-trained and toilet-trained and is learning to enjoy car rides with praise and encouragement.

When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
