About T K
TK is a twenty-two month old German Shepherd who is looking for a new home.
First requirement is a home who have had previous large breed or Shepherd experience, who have the time to put into this active and loving German Shepherd.
Second requirement is a secure yard with areas of shade and shelter and with the opportunity for him to have inclusion in the home.
T K is great with children but very timid with adults. He has already been in three homes in his short life. He will need time to gain trust and respect-connect with his new family, we can see T K is a gentle boy and good natured.
T K has lived young children and cats, but cannot go to a home with pocket pets.
Intelligence, loyalty, love and companionship is what T K will give in abundance when he connects and builds trust with his new owner.
If you understand the nature of the German Shepherd, have recently owned this breed, and are looking for a companion dog then please consider T K.
If you think you can give him a new home please contact us by selecting "Enquire about T K".
If you live in Queensland or Victoria, you can be considered, however you will need to be able to drive with your family to meet T K. If for any reason he doesn't fit your family you will be responsible for bringing him back to Sydney or helping us to rehome from your home.
Medical notes
T K is microchipped and will be desexed, vaccinated and heart worm tested before going to his new home.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
