About Spud
Hi I'm Spud! I’m no potato - I’m one clever pup. I’m a 1 year old kelpie x border collie boy looking for his next adventure!
I would suit a home away from the hustle and bustle, with a doggy sibling to keep me company or a home where I am with my owner more often than not.
I am very affectionate & loyal. I love pats, cuddles and just want to please you. I am very well behaved in the car & respectful inside the home. I sleep in my crate all night long without a peep.
Since being in care, I have learnt my basic manners - my name, sit & coming when called. Once I’ve had my mental & physical stimulation needs met, I’m happy to snooze the day away.
I can be a quite jumpy when guests arrive so I am working on controlling my excitement. I also just want to say hello to every dog I see, so I am still working on my impulse control & calmness in these situations.
My adopters will need to continue my training & reinforcing good behaviour in these areas.

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
