Sophia

Meet Sophia, a sweet-natured Smithfield Collie mix with an estimated date of birth of 24 October 2021. She is a petite girl and weighs just 17.3 kgs.

Sophia is well-mannered, inclined to be submissive until she gets to know you, and highly trainable. In her past life, she was apparently taught to come to a whistle. A simple click of the tongue will cause her to cease what she's doing and look to you for direction.

She's house-trained, knows her basic commands, and isn't fussy when it comes to food.

Sophia is dog-friendly, but untested with cats.

Perceptive and responsive, she is frightened by yelling and loud human noise, so is not suited to homes with children in residence.

She walks comfortably on a lead, but hasn't had much experience in ball play.

Best suited to a home where someone is around most of the time, Sophia would suit an active retired individual or couple or a family with older children. She would thrive in an environment where she is regarded as an integral part of the family.
