Hi everyone, my name is Lucky and it's a pleasure to meet you!

I am a sweet girl and I love to have human friends over having doggy friends because I'm not a huge fan of other doggos so I will become tense and I may vocalise when seeing another dog. To make sure I settle in comfortably in my new forever home, I will have to be the only dog in the household. That just means I get you all to myself! My new family will have to understand this and make adjustments such as walking me during quiet times of the day and avoiding dogs on walks to make sure we are both having a nice, smooth stroll.

Due to my reactivity with other dogs, I will require an experienced owner to understand my body language, know how to manage me on walks and provide me with lots of opportunities to decompress at home through lots of creative enrichments. I love to be mentally stimulated! Another thing you should know about me is that when I feel overwhelmed or uncomfortable, I will tell you by jumping up on you or other people. For example, when someone pats me waaaay too much and I begin to feel uncomfortable, I jump up and put my front paws on that person to tell them "that's enough now". As an experienced dog owner, I would appreciate if you can read my body signals and know when to give me space and what to do when I'm feeling uncomfortable or overwhelmed.

Although I am a sweet girl, I am a strong girl. I may pull on walks especially when seeing or sniffing something extraordinary. I'm an excitable dog so I may come off too strong for small children so it is best I go home to a household with no children under the age of 12. And because of my communication tactics, I don't wish to accidentally push over a child if they cannot read my body signals or know to give me space..

I love to be around my family so please give me indoor and outdoor access that way I can freely come inside and spend quality time with my family and also freely go outside to relax in the sun, stretch my legs and play some fun games with my family! The option to go in and out will benefit me when I am feeling uncomfortable or unsafe to move away where I feel more comfortable.
