Clifford

Clifford (the big red dog) is just that! This big boy is such a smoochy, gentle dog with a head as big as his heart!

He came into care after having a very neglectful start to his life and his body scars tell that story. Since in care, he's been thriving with good food, soft lounges and beds to snooze on, another dog to play with and lots of love and cuddles.

Clifford is a great dog who is very easy to have around. He's house trained, doesn't destroy anything when left at home (albeit the odd fluffy toy loses it's stuffing), pretty much sleeps all day and throughout the night, is polite with his food and loves to have a cuddle. He loves to play with squeaky toys and often curls up with them.

Being a large & solid boy, he has been learning personal space & is polite with saying hello. He has basic training already, sits, waits for food and walks on lead. He would benefit from extra training if that's what you want to do with him.

Clifford LOVES the car. He'll happily jump in at any opportunity and will sit or lay down, watching where the journey takes him. He can be left in car while you duck into the shops with no issue, he will just lay there & wait for you.

Good with other dogs, he loves a play and wrestle and will spend some time with his toys too or just munching on a cow's hoof, he's sooo easy going.

This gorgeous, sweet boy requires a home with large dog experience. He'd love to have another friendly, robust dog at home for morning & afternoon play time but that's not a deal breaker. He's also ok to be left at home alone for short periods but we're not looking for him to be alone all day. He'd love to be a real part of the family and join you in any outings or adventures. Kids should be teenagers & dog savvy just due to his size and strength.

Being large in size (63kg currently), he requires a family that will only feed a top quality diet (preferably raw) with supplements for his coat, skin and joints. His skin & coat have gotten much better in condition with good quality food and now he's as beautiful on the outside as he is on the inside.
