About Oates
Oates is an affectionate 1-year-old Kelpie girl with one slightly bent ear and one good ear that will surely help with your TV and radio signal. She is full of personality and will keep you laughing with all her silly antics. She loves her toys, and you will always find her with a toy in her mouth ready to play tug or fetch.
While in foster care, Oates has been learning how to be an inside dog. She has already learnt to sit and wait patiently for her dinner, how to use the dog door, and is working on her loose leash walking. She is toilet trained and sleeps happily all night in her crate.
Oates is a very friendly and social dog and adores people. She gets along very well with other dogs out on her walks but can get overexcited easily, and as such would be best suited to a home with a dog who can handle her size and energy level. Oates isn’t great with cats so a cat free home would be best for her.
Oates could make a suitable family dog to people with working breed experience and would be good with older children/teenagers due to her size and bouncy nature.
She is looking for a home with routine and with somebody who is home more often than not. She is a young dog and therefore needs guidance and boundaries. She's very switched on and is picking up her training very quickly. She will require a home that will continue her training and bring out the best in her.
If you think this sweet girl will fit into your home, please apply today!
Oates is located in QLD.

You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa.
