Betty & Mavis - 5 Year Old Pugs (Hold)

Betty and Mavis are 5 year old pugs and best friends.

Betty and Mavis are two peas in a pod. They have never been separated and adore each other’s companionship and never stray far from one another.

Both dogs are energetic and have a very playful nature and ideally looking for a family in which they can both be adopted together.

Both girls enjoy short walks on the lead and sleep together on their bed. They enjoy being in the yard throughout the day but sleeping inside at night.

They are loving and affectionate dogs but do well being left to their own devises.

When walking Betty and Mavis on the lead, they tend to pull slightly, so further trailing on the lead will be of benefit.

Upon encountering other dogs both girls are friendly.

Betty and Mavis are in foster care in the Windale, NSW area. They are NOT currently available for interstate adoption. The adoption fee is $1,200.00 and they are desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms and microchipped.

PLEASE NOTE: Dog Rescue Newcastle provides individual listings with specific requirements for each foster dog. If you submit an application or inquiry and DO NOT receive a response within 5 business days, please understand that you have not met the specific requirements for this dog. Please do not be disheartened or discouraged, this simply means you were not a suitable match at this time.

This organisation's adoption policy is moderate. What does this mean?
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire: https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
(2) If the questionnaire is approved we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) After that we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home, nearby park or your home.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
