About Bear
Please meet Bear, a very sweet-tempered and affectionate English Staffy mix who loves nothing more than spending time with his favourite humans - and having a cuddle on your lap, if you'll let him.
He is great with people and has never met a person he doesn't love.
He's also very dog friendly and loves playing with other energetic dogs. He walks nicely on the lead, is house-trained and is very adaptable. He's quiet and rarely barks. He does not climb fences.
Bear doesn't have an aggressive bone in his body. He's definitely a lover, not a fighter, and gets on with everything and everyone, except cats.
Bear would be well suited to a family home with older children who enjoy running around and playing.
Preference will be given to homes where someone is around most of the time and/or there is another compatible dog for him to play with.

Medical notes
Bear suffered a dislocated hip when he was a youngster. Unfortunately, it was left too long to correct, but it causes him no problems, other than a little muscle wastage on that side.
Bear had successful bilateral entropian surgery about nine months ago.
Adoption details
Dogs:
(1) The first step is to complete the online adoption application form at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ Please answer all questions and include photos of your yard and fencing.
(2) All applications will be considered by our Adoption Team, following which a "meet and greet" will be offered to the top-ranking applicant.
(3) The "meet and greet" is held in Warwick, Queensland. If successful, the applicant may adopt the dog and take him or her home the same day.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
