About Hazel
"Hi there! My name is Hazel and I'm looking for a loving home.
At 2 years old, I'm full of energy and excitement, and I'm always up for a good run or a game of fetch. I love sleeping on the lounge and watching tv with my foster family. I'm very affectionate!
You might think that I have interesting looking ears... Unfortunately, due to no fault of my own, I had bad fly bites on my ears and to be able to resolve it I had to have the tops of my ears removed. However, this has not stopped me loving life and listening carefully to the sound of the treat jar opening.
I'm a very intelligent and active dog, so I'll need a family that can keep up with me. I'm still learning how to behave, and I need someone patient who is willing to train me and provide me with the guidance and structure I need to be the best dog I can be.
Due to my high energy and excitability, I would do best in a home without very small children.
I do enjoy the company of other dogs but would prefer my own space so would be best as the only dog in the home. Having another dog friend outside of the home to walk with and play with would suit me better.
If you're looking for an active and loving dog, please consider adopting me." - love Hazel!
Note: This dog is currently being cared for in a foster (temporary) home and when adopted, it will free up a spot to help another dog.
