Meet Little Miss Abby Rose.
The sweetest happy go lucky girl you could ever meet is now ready for adoption.
Abby is a curious and affectionate girl and ever so gentle.
She loves play time, daily walks and being in the presence of her humans, especially the kids.
Abby Is a Jack Russell x Pomeranian wi\eighing in at 7 kilos
Abby is such a busy girl, she loves life and is always doing something. In her down time she loves to sit up on the couch watching the world go by the front window. Abby is a toy lover who enjoys a game of tug-o-war, or a play with her soft toys. After a busy day she loves a cuddle with her humans on the couch.
Abby is a great communicator when she wants something, she will hand you a toy when she wants to play, give a little bark at the back door when she wants to go outside. Sometimes can be a bit cheeky and will bark at the front door asking for a walk.
Abby absolutely loves her daily walks, she could walk all day if you can too. She will happily greet humans on our walk. She wants to sniff everyone we walk past. She is dog friendly but she can be a bit timid when she first meets a new furry friend, it does take her some time to warm up.
Abby AKA Little Miss Houdini, is a great climber she can scale over baby gates and wooden fences. Therefore secure fencing is required to keep this cheeky girl in. Colorbond fencing works well.Please do not apply if you do not have colorbond fencing as she used the cross brace of a woden to climb out !
Abby hasn't shown any signs of destructive behavior, unless your a soft
Dog toy. Pffft!!
Favorite things.
Abby loves her daily walks, it's her favorite part of the day. She appreciates being out and about.
Abby loves all her toys. She's not fussy but a good variety of toys is a must!
Car rides are also very exciting for her. She definitely benefits from a doggy seat belt as she's just so excited in the car!
Interactions with humans.
Abby loves everyone big and small and is loved by everyone she meets.
Obedience and training.
Abby can sit, she has very good manners when the family are eating dinner
Abby is crate trained and will sleep in the crate most nights (but is open to couch sleeping or with her human).
Abby’s toileting is amazing -providing she has access to the yard.
She does also tell you she needs to go outside by giving a quick bark at the door.
We've had a couple of accidents inside but only because the door was accidentally closed !
Animal social skills.
Abby is quiet timid when she comes to meeting new dogs
She does take a little while to warm up, but once she does she just wants to play and interact.
Abby hasn't been tested with cats and does like to chase birds.
Food.
Abby enjoys her food and isn’t a fuss pot, she is currently on a diet of Savourlife dry food and loves her occasional treat.
Independence.
Abby is well behaved on her own but will thrive in an environment or home where someone is home regularly. She adores being around her humans and wants to be with you everywhere you go when you are home!
Bath and Hygiene.
Abby doesn't overly enjoy a bath but will tolerate it.
She likes to keep herself clean and will only need the occasional bath plus a brush especially her gorgeous tail.
Sleeping.
Abby sleeps on the couch or in her crate. She's usually settles for the night at 10pm
Exercise.
Abby is happy with 30-40 minutes walk a day but more than happy to walk longer – she loves socializing and her outings!
Ideal home.
Abby would love a family home, a house where she is included and made a part of the family.
Abby's ideal home would include children – dog experienced and gentle
A backyard with some grass that is big enough for zoomies and playtime.
Daily walks
Someone who is home more than not.
Secure high fencing is a must preferably Colorbond.
We will consider applications both with or without another dog, however the resident dog must be of similar size, male, desexed, friendly and well socialized.
