About Bobbles
Hi my name is Bobbles! Why is that my name you may ask? When I was first brought into care, it was quickly evident that something wasn't quite right: I couldn't hold my head up properly so it was bobbling around like a bobble head!
I was much too small for my age, cold, dehydrated, malnourished and weak. My head was constantly tilted and I had poor balance causing me to fall all over the place. Despite this, after some TLC I began to gain weight and get stronger! My bobbling became less and my coordination and balanced vastly improved. I can now play and climb and run just like any other kitten!
Once I started hitting development goals and my health outcome was looking brighter, it became clearer that I am also hearing impaired/deaf! Early signs included getting sleep startled, sleeping through loud environmental sounds, and chasing the vacuum up and down the hall way! Due to this I will require to live as an indoor only cat.
In my foster home I have flourished into a little fire cracker. I love to wrestle my husky sister's legs, or hang off her tail as she walks. Now that the resident cats finally accept me, I enjoy playing chase, stalk and pounce, smacking games and any sort of playful interaction. I also think that human flesh is delicious so it's best not to encourage me to play with your hands, but provide me with fun toys to wrestle and chase. I am strong and independent and don't really enjoy being man handled, however I love nothing more than to sleep on your lap whilst you watch tv, or cuddle with you under the covers at night. I am the world champion at hide and seek, I always find the warmest places to burry myself away for a nap so if you can't find me, try checking under your pillows or in your washing basket!
