About Gus
Allow us to introduce Gus.
Gus is a sweet boy who is a little anxious in the shelter environment.
He is looking for a calm adult (maybe teen) family in a nice quiet home where he can settle into a routine with his new people.
Someone home initially to help Gus settle & monitor any anxiety in the home, would be necessary in the beginning. He is not a big fan of alone time!
Gus will enjoy being an included member of the family; spending time cuddled up watching TV and going for walks in quiet areas where he won't be exposed to lots of other dogs. Dog parks are a definite NO!
Being a solo doggo is a must for Gus, as he is not too keen on seeing other dogs let alone living with them. It's much better having all your attention and love for himself, and he will reward you with lots of puppy love!
As will all dogs a secure yard is must to keep him safe when outside and plenty of enrichment to keep him mentally occupied. This will help him settle when eventually he has to be home alone. Having access to indoors and outdoors would be ideal for Gus, that way he will have plenty of choice in a new environment.
If you think you can offer Gus the ideal home please call us at RSPCA Peninsula on 5978 9001 to arrange a time to meet him.
