Hi, I’m Capri!
I’m a fairly easy-going girl looking for my forever home where I can enjoy the simple pleasures in life! I would suit a busy household or a quiet household, both sound great to me. I would be open to meeting children of any age who have been around dogs before, and would prefer a home with an experienced owner.
When I first came into the facility I was very timid and scared, it took me a little while to warm up to the staff here but now I love them! This environment is pretty different to a home, and I would love to go back to having a family of my own, but for forever this time.
I have met other dogs in the facility and I don’t mind them! I prefer ones are that independent just like me, and won’t try to get in my face too much. If you have a mature dog at home, bring them in to meet me!
I won’t require strenuous exercise, just a nice walk every second day and plenty of inside time with my family would be perfect! If you are home part-time at the beginning that would suit me best while I get used to my new family.
I would love a yard with secure fencing, as I love to sunbake and occasionally chase a toy, though I’m not sure what to do with it once I’ve got you. Maybe you can teach me? Apply below!

Please remember that the pets we have available sometimes come to us with no history, so we do our very best to get to know them while they are here and to match them to your home. Sometimes animals behave differently outside of the shelter environment, so please do keep in touch after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
How much does it cost to adopt?
The adoption fee for dogs covers C3 vaccination, health check, heartworm testing, desexing, micro-chipping, and registration.
The adoption fee for cats covers F3 vaccination, health check, desexing, micro-chipping, and registration.
