Rory is a delightful girl whose perfect for first-time dog owners or those with seasoned dog parenting experience! She is a lovable, smart, and playful dog who is eagerly awaiting her forever home.
About: Rory is not just a dog; she's a social butterfly! She's friendly, affectionate, and loves engaging with her human friends.
Her playful demeanour will add a vibrant touch to your home, making every day a new & wonderful experience.
Ideal Home: Rory is versatile and adapts seamlessly to any household environment, whether it's a bustling and lively space or a serene and calm retreat.
She's your ideal match, whether you reside in a townhouse, duplex, standalone home, or even a farm or acreage – as long as there's a medium to large yard with secure fencing, Rory will feel right at home!
Family: Rory is an open-hearted canine, ready to embrace and play with children of any age.
Her friendly and outgoing nature makes her the perfect companion for your little ones. Whether it's playtime in the backyard or cuddles on the couch, Rory is game for it all!
Whether you're a full-time worker or someone with a flexible schedule, Rory fits right into your routine.
Furry Friends: While she is a bit unsure about how to interact with other dogs right now, Rory is eager to learn. But for now we would say that she is better off being the only dog in the home until she becomes more confident & comfortable. She is showing great adaptability & has come such a long way from where she was & we are so proud of her!
Unfortunately, Rory's high prey drive makes her incompatible with cats or pocket pets.
However, if you're looking for a canine companion who's the star of the show, Rory is ready to take center stage in your heart.
Work: While Rory is a smart cookie who knows commands like ‘sit’, ‘shake’, ‘drop’, ‘roll’, and ‘crawl’, she's open to post-adoption training to refine her skills.
With the right guidance, she could become the star pupil of your home. Plus, Rory's food-motivation will make training sessions a breeze!
With some additional training, Rory could be the perfect cafe or picnic partner. She may bark at other dogs, but with your guidance, she can learn to enjoy outings with you to the fullest.
We always recommend post-adoption training whether it be at home or with a professional. Training doesn’t have to be a chore – it can be a fun experience for you both, it doesn’t have to take long & is a great way for you to bond with your new pal.
Play: If you're an active and outdoorsy individual or family, Rory is your ideal adventure buddy. She loves going for walks, runs, and exploring the great outdoors.
With a medium energy requirement, Rory is the perfect fit for families who want to include their furry friend in their active lifestyle.
She enjoys daily walks/exercise ranging from 20 to 60 minutes. Walking with Rory is a delight, and it’s best to use a martingale collar for the best experience.

With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as flawless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories. Most left in the shelter by their owners. The information we receive is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks will surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
So please keep in touch with us after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
The adoption fee for dogs covers C3 vaccination, health check, heartworm testing, desexing, micro-chipping, and registration.
