Hi, I’m Cubbie!

I’m an easy to please type of guy who would be happy in any home, including one with a first-time owner who has knowledge on responsible dog ownership. I’m pretty active but also have a chilled side to me once I’m all tuckered out.

I’d suit a busy or quiet household, with children who are at least 8 years old just because I’m a little jumpy at the moment. I really like chasing toys and squeaky toys make me do a very cute head tilt, but I’m still learning how to play with them.

I have met other dogs in the shelter here and I just want to play! If you have a medium-large size dog at home bring them in to meet me so we can be friends. If you work full-time that’s fine! As long as you can commit to spending time with me before or after work.

I’d love a yard with secure fencing so I can run around and burn some energy before we go on a walk together. I am learning how to walk nicely on the lead and it’s going quite well with the help of treats! I would benefit from some group training classes to help with some of my overwhelming desires to jump on people and lick their faces.
