About Bella
Looking for a special someone who will open their heart and home to this special little lady.
Bella is a nearly 3 year old Toy Poodle who is looking for a home that understands her high energy level as well as her anxiety.
If you are still reading, and we truly hope you are as this little lady is worth it!
This gorgeous lady has been observed in a foster carers home for some time, so we do know the requirements she needs in a future family to ensure she continues to thrive.
Bella has come into care with some anxiety - as a result it will take her a few days to really settle into her new home however please don’t mistake her for being a shy little one – Bella is what some people would call a energizer bunny and is go, go, go.
Bella is an enthusiastic and affectionate dog who loves to show her excitement by greeting her humans with lots of happy barks and excited leaping. While this behavior is adorable, we have been working on her settling down and being a bit less vocal at greeting time and her new family will either be so in love with it, it won’t matter or they will continue with her settling.
Bella would also love someone who can help build her confidence when meeting new people for the first time.
Bella is a sweet-natured dog who enjoys nothing more than spending time with her humans, getting lots of belly rubs, and snuggling up close at the end of the day.
Bella has come into care thru no fault of anyone’s just unfortunately circumstances meaning she needs a home where there are children either over the age of 8 or older or in a home with no children at all. Bella is not aggressive, however she can get scared around small children, which is why we want to make sure that she finds a safe and secure environment where she can thrive.
Bella is toilet trained, but may need a few days to settle in and get her routine and surroundings sorted.
Bella is looking for a home where someone is home more often than not, works from home or is a homebody – this is not negotiable for her.
Bella is currently with another small breed dog (and chickens) but would be more than happy as an only fur child and have all the attention or if another small breed dog, one that is not dominant or in her face.
Bella is a gorgeous little girl but she very much wants to be with her humans most of the time – be a huge part of their lives and active in it.
Bella loves to chew up toys that are provided too her after she has had a small play – so for anyone who loves shopping at Kmart Bella is definitely your excuse!
Once Bella is comfortable and feeling secure in her home and she does come for pats and cuddles then you will be her best friend for life! She will happily follow you around wherever you go in the house or out in the yard (she is a shadow and her humans must be able to accept that).
Bella is a special dog who deserves a loving and caring home where she can receive all the love and attention she needs. She is intelligent and we are confident she will respond well to patient and gentle reward-based training.
Bella does have a coat that require grooming so please keep this in mind when applying as it’s an ongoing expense.
Bella loves to sleep in her dog bed at night or will happy fall asleep on the couch, but she will probably not say no to sleeping with her humans once settled.
If you're looking for a sweet and affectionate companion who will brighten up your days with her playful antics, Bella is the dog for you. So, if you're ready to welcome Bella into your home, please don't hesitate to send thru an adoption application
