Akuna - 7 Week Old Mixed Breed (On Trial)

Akuna is a male tri-colour medium mixed breed. He is a handsome guy who wins the hearts of all who lay eyes on him.

Akuna means "to follow" in aboriginal and suits this wee man completely. Akuna loves to be around people, have cuddles and play a robust round of tug. He is confident to explore a new space or garden providing he has someone to reassure him it'll all be ok.

Because he is people (and food) focussed, he has been easy to begin training of simple commands; Sit, Come and Down. He is crate trained and sleeps in a crate through the night and is on his way to being toilet trained (work in progress)

Akuna has been sharing a house with his sister (Bakali) and our adult dog, he is dog friendly but still learning some manners (as all puppies are).

Akuna has also met our chickens and showed no aggression towards them

Akuna would suit a home with anyone who is looking for an active breed companion, who are prepared to continue puppy training and provide him all the love he can soak up and a home for life.

Akuna will be available for collection from 10 weeks old on the 11/05/2023

Akuna is in foster care in Wyoming, Central Coast, NSW. He is not yet desexed, therefore he is only available for adoption in Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he will need to be returned to a DRN approved vet for desexing (included in adoption fee) when approximately 5-6 months old. Out of area applications will not be considered.
