Meet the incredibly sweet affectionate and loving little English Staffy x weighing a mere 20 kilos of stocky legged land seal lovin huggable loyalty the amazing little couch potato Shelby.
She greets her humans with little whines and wagging tail. She loves to snooze on the couch or follow her humans around. She wants regular affection, cuddles, belly rubs and back massages. When she has not seen her humans for a few hours, she sooks and gives little whines which is her way of saying that she has missed her humans!
She likes to be inside but can be just as happy outside as long as she is near her humans. She likes to play, run and go for walks.
FOOD
She is not a big eater and is happy to nibble at whatever is provided. She does love her chicken legs or bones. If she is not hungry, she will stash these for later.

SOCIALISATION
Shelby can be hot and cold with dogs
She has had an incident with a small fluffy dog so we highly recommend she is not allowed to interact with small fully dogs
Shelby was tested with another larger very social dog and she was polite and happy to walk alongside ( see pic )
When walking Shelby and she sees another dog she will cry in excitement to go and say hi and once she does she settles so this behavior will need some work.
OBEDIENCE
Shelby is quite well behaved and stays to heel when on walks. She keeps general boundaries and is not mischievous or gets into things that she shouldn’t. She has shown no destructive behaviors while in care
ENRICHMENT
She likes playing tug-o-war and shows some interest in a ballShelby loves a bone to chew and is happy to laze on the couch most of the day . Shelby loves a daily walk but please see the mentioned section re her lead excitement
SLEEPING
She sleeps all night and is happy to sleep inside or outside weather depending

TRAVEL/CAR
She loves traveling in a car,

IDEAL HOME:
We feel that Shelby will be best suited to an only dog home and be a perfect companion to her humans. She will be the most loyal friend. She just needs a home that will give her the love and attention that she needs as lets face it… she's a typical little Staffy
No other pets
We are seeking a home with a color-bond secure fencing of smaller to medium size
A home where she can be inside as she a couch potato and just wants to snuggle
A home that can work on her social skills
A home that has children is great but seeking mature dog savvy children
