- Happy to live with cats and chickens.
- A yard suitable for her to run and play in and secure fences to keep her safe.
- A new family that will continue training Azula.
- Daily walks and when left, leave Kongs and toys for her to play with.
_. When your home Azula wants to be with you, to sit with you and to follow you.
Azula’s carer said “She follows us everywhere, loves a cuddle and playing with other dogs. She's a bit hesitant meeting new people but warms quickly.”
Azula is a medium size dog about 20 kgs, more the size of a blue heeler than a Bull Arab. Azula loves her people and thinks of herself as a lap dog, she enjoys playing tug of war with anyone willing to hold a rope. Azula loves playing with other dogs and when they are ready for a rest, she loves to nap on the doggie bed with them. Homes without a doggie companion would best have people home often, as she just loves company and we would hate her getting destructive because she is bored and lonely. Azula currently lives with a dog savvy cat and chickens, supervision and slow introductions are always recommended.
Azula is very easy to train, is food motivated and wanting to please. Her carers think she would make a great agility dog. Azula can sit and waits for her food and her recall is great. Her toilet training is ongoing, and will need patients and regular outside times. Azula walks well on lead when not too many distractions. Azula is learning the art of waiting at the door to coming inside. Azula is friendly around new people, she is initially shy but warms up quickly. Currently she can get a little car sick when travelling.
Azula currently lives with teenagers and loves hanging with them.

Adoption details
Please note- we do not work on a first in best dressed basis, we assess all applications to choose the home that we believe will best match the animal.
If you believe one of our animals would be a good match for your home please send us a detailed email us with some information about the people and any other animals in your home as well as the type of lifestyle you can offer a new rescue pet. We are volunteerswho run the rescue around families, paid employment and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
