Ledger

Ledger has big brown eyes you can melt into - just like his namesake.

And just like Heath all the ladies swoon over him! Those extra snuggly rolls, pink toe beans and puppy breath are just some of the 10 things we love about Ledger.

He also is great with cats! He trots around after them just to see what they are up to but chasing seems too much like hard work. He’d rather cuddle up to them.

He adores dogs! Foster life has meant Ledger has four dogs ranging from 6 months to 14 years to teach him about the world. While he loves to rough and tumble, he would rather a slow trot with the older boys just sniffing about while they potter along.

Ledger has been fostered with two kids under 7. He is a sweet fella but he does get those crazy moments where he runs around like a sugar hyped toddler. In those moments his teeth are very sharp so play can become a little rough. So older kids who won’t be spooked by a playful puppy might be best.

Ledger is crate trained and loves nothing more than a snooze in his crate at nap time. He usually takes himself off to bed when he is ready. He takes a bit to get used to new surroundings so expect a few unsettled nights in the outset but a strong recovery and sleeping through the night.

Ledger is still such a young pup that he hasn’t mastered toilet training yet. He is getting the hang of it but it is a work in progress.

A new home would need to take this little dude to puppy school to learn all the clever things and continue to be a good social canine citizen.
