About Gus
Gus is looking for his forever home.
This 7 month old medium size cattle x is the perfect pooch to bring into your family. At 18kgs he’s a fantastic family size, he’s great onlead and can still squish himself onto your lap for cuddles.
Gus is a super affectionate little boy who is soft natured and loving. He loves his people, always engaging and listening to instruction and eager to please. He’s a delight to train, quick learner and very good orientated. He knows how to sit, lay down, stay, shake, mat placement, and he is brilliant and having calm time outs. He is fantastic onlead and doesn’t pull.
He absolutely loves other dogs and is looking for a home with a canine companion. Gus relies on this companionship for his confidence and is content when left alone at home during the day if he’s with a canine sibling. He currently shares his foster care with 3 big dogs and he loves to play tug of war, fetch and get chased around the yard.
So another playful dog would be a great match.
Hes got a beautiful short soft coat, doesn’t shed much at all and he is completely toilet trained. He sleeps on his bed perfectly beside the other dogs, and has also been crate trained.
We believe gus will bond well with kids, and suggest 5+ would be best suited.
As long as Gus has another dog to keep him company, he doesn’t show any signs of separation anxiety, so part-time and full-time workers are suitable. He hasn’t been tested with cats so this is an unknown.
Please come and meet Gus and get to know him for yourself. He’s an absolute superstar and we can’t believe he’s still waiting for a family to adopt him. Located in the Newcastle area, Gus is available for NSW or ACT adoptions only.
His adoption fee is $600 and he's ready to meet you now!
