About Harley
FINALLY…
Time to find Harley a home.
He recently had a much needed dental on Friday and recovering well.
He has had time to decompress and to be observed by his carer and team, to find the best fit for Harley.
The last couple of weeks, we have realised that this boy absolutely loves, loves kids!!
Not very often we can say that.
He has been spending a lot of time with his carers grandchildren and the neighbours kids, with no concerns AT ALL.
But of course, no dog is perfect, he has a few little quirks that need to be discussed.
Harley can get a bit jelly, sharing his lap time with adults and other dogs.
He is sharing his foster home with a couple of furkids, but we think he would love just to be the centre of attention on his own.
He is fantastic at the beach and dog park, mingling with the crowd, but prefers to go home on his own with his skin pack.
We think, in his last home he pretended to be the boss.
His carer says sometimes, he growls and groans when he doesn’t want to do something.
But it’s all a bluff, but never with children.
We need a home where we have confident, understanding adults to explain to Harley that he doesn’t need to be MR Grumble bum.
Please don’t apply if you don’t fit the criteria for Harley.
He has been misunderstood before and our job is to find that perfect fit where he gets to be happy and loved with all his fantastic qualities and his few little quirks.
We cannot respond to every application.
If you fit the bill, we will at least discuss with you to see if you would be the best fit.
Harley is on the Gold Coast.

Adoption details
We shortlist and contact families who may fit the dogs needs. If indications are positive, normally after sleeping on it, a home check is organised, then an adoption agreement is completed, adoption donation (variable on account of age and health of individual dog) is transferred and the dog will become part of your family.
All our dogs have had a consultation with our vet, are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and treated for fleas. As we want every dog to be in its own family we try and fit dogs into forever homes, we don’t offer “Trials”. Naturally unforeseen circumstances arise occasionally where it’s preferable dogs come back to us as per our adoption agreement.
