🧸 BIG SMILES
🧸 GENTLE AND LOVING
🧸NEEDS A SPECIAL HOME
🧸 WILL BE YOUR BESTFRIEND
Sweet female approx 7 months old, white and brown mastiff x dog!
Hey all, I am Sookie and I am a bit reserved at first and have sadly not always had positive human interactions and because of this I am a little shy at meeting new people and only when I fully trust you I will be able to show my full potential. We can tell Sookie is super loving and affectionate, each day she has become more and more confident although please expect that at her meet and greet she will be a bit reserved but once she can see your true self she will smoother you with kisses and will lay down for some belly rubs!
Sookie is still learning to toilet train but is picking it up super quickly. each morning and afternoon for her run she knows to go straight to the grass to go to the toilet so continued training and encouragement will see her master it in no time 💕 💕
Sookie loves to play and run around doing her morning zoomies. Sadly she has not been shown all the good aspects of life such as playing with toys and going for adventures, she is still trying to figure out commands like sit. Walking on a leash is still a little scary for her as she is learning what it means.
She is a very young dog and have not yet experienced the big world nor has she ever known what its like to actually be part of a family, I have not lived indoors before although due to my clingy nature and desire to be with you all the time she would need an indoor / outdoor access in her new home!
Further training is also an essential commitment you'd need to make, as she has lots to learn and a big world to be exposed to!
Once she is settled and more confident, ongoing obedience training would be a great thing for you to take her to so she can be the best-behaved girl ever 🎀 🎀
Her breed is known for being gentle, affectionate and relaxed with a moderate energy level, although she may not have met many children yet and due to her timid and submissive nature the kids will need to respect that she will be interested but reserved at first and her new family will need to take the introductions slowly..
Ongoing socialization and exposure is crutial for her personality to grow, because of her background I am a dog that will not cope being left alone in a backyard for majority of the day, she does get scared and puts on her big protective girl pants and gets a little intimidated and overly confident with the other dogs 😎
If you do have other animals, she will need slow introductions and eventually have another desexed companion that can teacher how to live like a proper dog and learn to enjoy all the beautiful activities she can do with her new forever family in and outside of the home 🤩🤩🙏
Sookie has not yet been tested with children and does not like cats but with slow introductions she will be the best dog companion to all 🦴 🙌🏻👩🏼🦰👨🏼🦰🐕 🐩
Sookie will come to you desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and all up to date on her vet work..
If you have read this far you seem to be really interested in the beautiful SOOKIE 💓 💗 💖
If you can give sookie a second chance at life like she deserves and if you can offer her a loving home please call Griffith City Council on 1300 176 077!!!!
Sookies adoption fee is $381 and this includes her first c4 vaccination, flea / worm treatment, microchip, NSW lifetime registration and desexing!!!! 💓 💗 💖
Sookie is seeking a specific home and if you do not met the full criteria for what she needs / deserved we will keep looking for her forever family, due to her more reserved nature and poor upbringing she will need a patient and dog experienced family willing to allow her to be completely part of the family 🎊 🎉

The fist point of contact is to call the animal rehoming officer on 0439357051. We simply ask normal questions about your home life and what sort of lifestyle you can provide for the pet. Once you have had this conversation we usually will book in a meet and greet at the facility.
If the meet greet goes well the rehoming officer will book the animal in at the local vet clinic for their vetwork to be complete. The rehoming officer will then drop the animal off at the clinic that morning and you will be contacted by the vet staff when the animal is ready for collection later that afternoon.
Prior to collecting your animal from the vet you must text through your full name, email, residential address and contact number to the animal rehoming officer.
Your information is then passed onto council staff at the front office and you must complete the microchipping paperwork and also pay the animals adoption fee prior to collecting the animal from the vet. You will complete this paperwork and pay the fee not at the pound but at the Griffith city council office at 1 Benerembah St, Griffith NSW.
