About Dorothy 10770
Hi, I’m Dorothy!
When I first came into the facility I was very shy and hid most of the time. Now I’m a very comfortable girl who is happy to have pats. I would prefer a quiet home as I can be overwhelmed by loud noises.
Once you spend a bit of time with me, I warm right up and will start smooching against you. I would be open to meet children as long as they are cat savvy and can leave me be if I need space.
I wouldn’t mind the company of other animals as long as we have a very slow introduction and space to retreat to safety if need be.
I have recovered from cat-flu which is essentially the same symptoms as the human cold. Don’t worry, humans can’t catch cat-flu. It is transmittable to other cats though, so preferably your existing cat will have already been exposed to flu in the past. Cat-flu can flare up when I’m in a stressful situation such as, getting desexed or going to a new home, but it usually resolves on it’s own.
I’m not too fussy with my food but I’m not a big eater either! I always use my litter tray and I’m overall a very clean, relaxed kitty cat. If you’d like to meet me, apply below!
Adoption details
Please remember that the pets we have available sometimes come to us with no history, so we do our very best to get to know them while they are here and to match them to your home. Sometimes animals behave differently outside of the shelter environment, so please do keep in touch after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
