Hi, we are TinkyWinky and LaLa and we are bound to win your hearts. We are confident, happy and interactive pups who LOVE a smooch from humans and dogs alike. We are VERY cheeky, a bit too cheeky sometimes, and love to chew, chew, chew on anything our sharp wee teeth can find. We are trying very hard to learn what is a toy and what is off limits, but we are really only babies so will need our new families to be patient with us. We are currently OBSESSED with puppy safe chews and carrots, so our new families will need to stock up :)

We love to play both indoors and outdoors and don’t mind being left alone for a couple of hours if our people need to be out but would really prefer our new families to have us with them as much as they can. We are learning to walk on harnesses around the yard and have lovely manners at the cafes and sports events that we have been to. As we are not fully vaccinated yet, we have gone out in a puppy pram, but we love to see all the new things around us. We are very sensible pups for our age really, until we see food, which we are COMPLETELY obsessed with and will become absolute pests around if not firmly controlled and taught what food we are allowed to eat and what food is for people. We have quickly learnt that a water spray means no, and back off quickly.

We absolutely adore children but do get super excited when we are around them and sometimes give kisses with our teeth, and because of this, if we get adopted by a family with children, they must be dog savvy and understand how to give us space, just in case we accidentally hurt them when we're excited. We need to have a confident dog friend to live with, or well-behaved dog friends to play with on a regular basis, to help teach us how to behave and to put us back in our place when we become too cheeky. This dog would need to be very tolerant though as we are relentless when we play and don’t stop until we fall asleep. We are very confident around cats, and love to give them kisses when they let us, but we have been known to chase our foster cat sisters down the hallway in fun if they run away from us, so cats that stand their ground would be completely fine for us to live with.

We currently sleep together in a crate, and generally sleep all night until our tummies say it is time for breakfast or we need a midnight wee and munch of possum poo. We are almost toilet trained, but sometimes still have accidents when our people miss us asking to go outside. We currently have access to an outdoor area when our people are home, so generally most poos are in the correct place, wees are so much harder for us to work out though, but we're really trying hard to wee outside too.

As cheeky, young pups, we have the potential to learn inappropriate behaviours if we are not properly guided as we grow up. Our new families need to make a firm commitment to taking us to obedience school and following through with training for us to grow up to be the best that we can be. We already sit when we are waiting for our food and are learning to sit and calm down when we are getting over-excited. We respond well to a water squirt when we are too excited to listen and thrive on positive praise when we are paying attention.

It is very hard to separate us personality wise as we are constantly ebbing and flowing with confidence and moods. LaLa is generally the first to ask for smooches, while TinkyWinky loves to steal everyone else’s toys and run around with them, until realising that cuddles are up for grabs.
