About Elodie
Elodie requires a special home for a special little girl who is an absolute delight.
She is very shy when meeting new people but onces she gets to know you, she will greet you with great enthusiasm.
Elodie is mildly ataxic, she has some calcified discs and a narrowing of some spaces between some discs. (X rays and veterinary notes will be made available to adopter). She is not in any pain. She has very short legs even for a dashie. As a result she is a quiet girl, she loves, loves her short walks during the day (these are important for her to maintain muscle mass) but other than that she is content to lay about or potter about in the garden with you.
She will need a home with no stairs and has difficulty with a dashie ramp depending on the incline, she can use a doggy door depending on how it is set up.
Elodie is fine with other dogs but is content to be the only dog or be a companion to an older dog to lay around with, but definitely no rough and tumble. She is fine with cats. She is great in the car and is toilet trained.
Elodie was underweight coming into care and was very fussy, she loves eating now but I feed lots of yummy different foods.
Elodie is looking for a home with no children, someone who is home a lot or with someone who has the ability to take her with you (she comes to work with me). Whilst she is fine when left on her own, she does enjoy company.
Elodie is located on the NSW Central Coast.
Medical notes
Elodie has mild ataxia, calcified discs and a narrowing of the space in between some of the discs (veterinary notes can be made available)
