Bonnie

Bonnie is waiting for that extra special someone who will take the time to get to really get to know her & understand her needs.

She has come from a traumatic past & needs time to decompress from that. There may be triggers that cause her to flinch or shy away from people or situations. She can feel easily overwhelmed & lacking in confidence.

Bonnie is the sweetest girl with a huge heart. She is looking for someone who is able to give her lots of their time. She is at her happiest & most secure when she is around her favourite people. She can take time to warm up to strangers, but with kind, gentle words & lots of yummy treats, she is able to make new friends.

Bonnie would be best suited to a single-dog household where she can be the centre of her new family's universe.

She requires daily exercise, which for a town dog means going for walks beyond her back yard. She is learning to walk really nicely on her harness at the shelter & going out to explore really helps build her social skills, manners & confidence.

Bonnie requires secure fencing, a high quality diet & bucketloads of love!
