About Mota
Mota is a stunning 4 year old Border Collie , he is an intelligent , gorgeous , sensitive and kind dog . He is beautiful ,big, black ,thick coated and majestic .
Mota came to rescue with a female Border Collie who has been adopted , they were a breeding pair and Mota hadnt been socialised much so was a little anxious about quite a few things initially.
He is however a very intelligent dog and has proven excellent to train easily. He now sits and shakes and stays . He is getting better on a lead. He wants so much to please and loves everyone . He isnt a dog that needs tons of exercise , preferring to sit at your feet and be close . He has met cats and chickens and isnt interested in them He is living with small dogs and is very gentle and safe around them . He has met small children and although his size may be an issue he is safe to be around them.
He absolutely loves playing ball or frisbee and brings it back and drops at your feet everytime. He is very easy to exercise this way as well as keeping him stimulated.
He is happy to sleep outside undercover next to the house and although he has never lived inside I am sure that he could adapt as long as he wasnt too hot . His coat is thick and needs regular stripping and brushing and he is happy for that to be done.
Mota is available to a home where he will be part of the family, another dog will be fine but mostly Mota would like to be someone's best friend.
Because his coat is thick he will need regular grooming and a cool place to live in the hot weather

We require an initial application and then if a dog seems a match we can arrange a meet and greet at a local park or the foster carers home. If the meet is successful we then arrange a yard check and if that is satisfactory we require full payment on picking up the dog.
We then give a 2 week trial and if in that time it is not working we will refund all but $50 for admin costs. We also require that the adopter returns our dogs back to us at any time in its lifetime (without a refund) for us to rehome.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
