About Sooty
Sooty is an incredibly friendly and fun-loving cat who loves to show his affection for his family. He always greets visitors with enthusiasm, rubbing against their legs and meowing until he's invited up for some cuddles. Sooty loves nothing more than to be caressed or sit in someone's lap, purring loudly in pleasure whenever he's touched. When he's feeling especially affectionate, Sooty even likes to give kisses!
Don't let his age fool you; Sooty is a young kitten at heart. He loves chasing flying feathers, aluminum silver balls, and exploring the garden for lizards. He also enjoys sunbathing on the lawn and looking out the window when his family arrives home. But don't worry - Sooty knows how to take it easy as well! After a morning of activity, he likes to settle down for a nap in the afternoon before coming out again in the evening for playtime and dinner.
Sooty is also very clean and particular about his litter box - two trays are required! He has beautiful soft fur that requires combing every 2-3 days. With all this love and happiness, Sooty will make a wonderful addition to your household, preferably one where someone is home more often than not. Regretfully, Sooty's owner is looking to rehome him due to a change of family circumstances.

Sooty has a mild heart murmur, but is otherwise in great health!

When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
