Ssh!

A poem, by Whisper, aged 4

I am a timid hound
Who lives a little life
I need a gentle home
Away from noise and strife

I’ve had some frights before,
Right now I’m scared to play
But with a lot of patience
I’m bound to find my way

Could you be that special person?
Who will give me space and time?
I promise I’ll be worth it
And you’ll be glad you’re mine

If you have another hound
Or hey, even two
I’ll happily come and join them
And love them as much as you

I prefer some doggy company
It helps my nerves, you see
I’m fine with pups of all sizes
I find that company is key

So if you have the room
And can wait for me to trust too
Please softly ask for Whisper,
And I’ll give my heart to you.

Our matchmakers go to greyt lengths to match each hound with the right family to make sure everyone's happy, and you'll become part of a wonderful rescue community with lots of support along the way!

All hounds are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated, and heartworm tested/treated. The adoption fee also includes our New Adopter Kit - collar, leash, muzzle and loads of other goodies to help you get your new hound settled into the family.
