About Walnut
*In foster care in Rozelle, Sydney*
A real live wire, Walnut is the queen of playtime! In no particular order, her top three activities are:
1. Exploring
2. Wrestling with her feline foster friends
3. Chasing bells on strings
This vocal little girl is also very skilled at letting you know she's hungry, meowing in protest until her meal is served!
Though she was initially quite shy around people, Walnut has come a long way in her foster home and now loves to be petted and have her belly rubbed. She's a total social butterfly who enjoys spending time with her humans, and is always up for a game with her toys :)
Like all Maggie's pets, Walnut is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be with a person, couple or family who's delighted by my spirited nature and penchant for play! I love lots of hands-on affection, and quiet environments without too much noise or chaos.
Another nice kitty friend or two would also be wonderful :)
MY ENERGY LEVEL: 'Well-rounded' is the term my foster carer uses! I've definitely got lots of energy to burn, but I also know how to relax and enjoy my downtime.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Though I haven't spent much time with kids, I'm sure I'd get along well with anyone who's gentle and patient with their playing.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I adore the other cats in my foster home, so I'd probably do very well in a home with resident cats! I haven't had the chance to meet any dogs at this stage.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
