About Birch

Birch is a playful and affectionate girl who adores her feline and human friends alike! A keen explorer, she loves prowling around the house in search of adventure, chasing toy mice, and curling up in a handy lap for a snooze and a contented purr when she’s done playing :)
This beautiful kitten has always enjoyed human attention, and will constantly chirp her approval during pats!
Like all Maggie's pets, Birch is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be with a fabulous single person, couple or family who enjoys hanging out with me, and doesn't mind if I curl up near (or on) them for hours on end!
I'm super easygoing and love love LOVE playing with my siblings, so I'm definitely open to having a furry friend too :)
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Kitten! I love zooming around the house and getting my wrestle on when I'm in the mood! But I also look forward to my downtime, especially if I get to nap on a warm lap.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Though I haven't really spent time around children, I'm very chill and would love to meet some!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I adore my cat siblings, so I'd probably do very well in a home with resident kitties! I haven't had the chance to meet any dogs at this stage.

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
