About Starling
*In foster care in Carlton, Sydney*
Full of beans and brimming with self-confidence, Starling will make the purrfect addition to virtually any type of cat-loving home!
This sweet, fluffy girl enjoys getting up to mischief with her foster siblings, but we think she could live happily as a solo cat too. While chasing her toys around is one of her favourite hobbies, she turns into a smoochy darling with her foster humans in the afternoons - often showing off her expert biscuit making skills!
A funny little quirk about Starling is that she has a silent meow that sounds more like 'ah!'. She'll bless you with it if you're holding chicken or petting her just right :) Her silence also makes her very easy to lose, so if you can't find her be sure to check all the cupboards (and the fridge!).
Like all Maggie's pets, Starling is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... is with another active kitty (or one of my siblings) and nice humans who'll play with me too! And give me lots of cuddles, of course :) I'm pretty easygoing so I'd probably be just as content as your one-and-only cat, as long as I have lots of toys to keep me busy.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Typical kitten - manic in the morning and evenings, and sleepy for the rest of the day. If you approach me between 12-5pm you're almost guaranteed to see me making biscuits!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I haven't had the chance to meet any kids at this stage - but I'm very confident, so with a slow and patient approach I reckon I'd do brilliantly in a family home!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I'm great friends with my foster siblings - we love snoozing and causing mayhem together! My purrsonality is likely well-suited to a home either with other welcoming pets, dog and cat alike :)

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
