About Kylo
This strapping young chap goes by the name of Kylo and isn’t he just perfect! He has such a wonderful temperament - inquisitive but appropriately cautious, cuddly but not clingy and has been a breeze for his carer to look after him.
This boy just loves people! He will do anything for a pat and loves nothing more than to snuggle up with his foster carer. He has been living as an only dog, but has had a couple of chances to meet other dogs and can be a little nervous of bigger dogs but nothing unusual for a tiny puppy meeting a big dog for the first time! Due to his age, he hasn’t had many chances to socialise outside of the house so will need a new owner committed to ensuring his socialisation is continued. It is important that he is given positive socialisation experiences with other dogs, ideally in the form of play dates with other friendly and appropriate dogs rather than at dog off lead areas where the other dogs are unknowns. Kylo is expected to grow into a large dog who will require daily exercise to keep him happy and healthy throughout his life.
Kylo is a very smart puppy who has begun basic training with his foster carers. He is good motivated and has already picked up, come, sit and “with me”. His toilet training is progressing well, but will need continued work. Kylo doesn’t like being left alone and will need continued work building independence. He would do better with another dog in the household for company when the family is out and about. He has been loving adventuring in the back of the camper van and having picnics near beaches. He will make an amazing adventure dog for a lucky family. He can get a bit overwhelmed at loud noises and sudden movements, so he will require a family who can continue his exposure to new places, sounds and sights appropriately.
We are looking for a dog experienced home for kylo where he will be a part of the family and included in the daily activities. He will need a home with someone home more often than not as he is a young puppy. Kylo would do best in a home with another friendly and confident dog for company. He hasn’t lived with kids, but has met a toddler while in care and had a positive interaction so should be fine to live with dog savvy kids. Kylo should be allowed inside to be with the family and will need to have a bed to sleep on inside at night. Kylo would also like to be included on lots of fun adventures to new places and get lots of cuddles at home.
Kylo is a very well-balanced pup and is going to make an amazing addition to a lucky family. If you would like to make him a permanent member of your family, then please apply by completing a Dog Adoption Enquiry form on the Fetching Dogs website as the first step. Please include plenty of details about who is in your household, your previous dog experience and what sort of lifestyle you can offer Kylo.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
