About Smurf
** IN FOSTER CARE IN WOLLI CREEK**
Smurf is something special and she will make you feel like something pretty special too as when she picks her human of choice, she's all in!
Smurf is what can be described as a velcro dog, she wants to be not just with you but on you, preferably with eye contact so she knows you're as invested as she is. Apart from being a bit of a stage 5 clinger, Smurf is generally easy going, she likes a snooze, a snack and a little trot around the neighbourhood.
After spending her previous life as a breeding dog, Smurf deserves an early retirement where she can just kick back, chill, hang with her homies and just be doted on like she always has deserved.
MY IDEAL HOME: I am looking for a home with humans around far more often than not, whilst I have accepted that sometimes I need to be left alone, I wouldn't cope being left for full time hours. I would be happy to share a home with another cruisey dog or two and could be an office dog as I'm a bit of a chiller.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I am a nice moderate energy, happy for a good daily walk and adventure but don't need hours of exercise. I'm a self confessed potato who mostly likes to just hang out on the couch watching crime dramas with my foster ma.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I'm fine with humans of all sizes and ages, I do however tend to attach myself to one person, so if children are happy to play second fiddle to my first chair, I can live with them ;)
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I currently share a home with a few dogs both big and small, I don't mind a good wrestle (I'm particularly good with puppies) but mostly I'm pretty content just coexisiting with them. Out and about I can get a wee bit defensive if I'm approached by other dogs but generally I'm pretty easy going.
I have met a cat and I chased her, so no cats please.

For Cats: https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870
For Dogs: https://form.jotform.co/80677377750872
Please use these links rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
