About Luna
** IN FOSTER CARE IN STANMORE**
Luna is a lap dog. She just wants to spend all day on someones lap getting pats and scratches. She loves to cuddle on the couch and would spend her whole life there if she had the chance. Luna is extremely affectionate. The only other thing Luna loves more is food. She is a greedy guts and will gulp her food down quick smart. She wont waste a single bite.
MY IDEAL HOME: My ideal home is with a human that doesn't mind a stage five clinger! I am what some might refer to as a velcro dog! I am okay to be left at home for short periods but really would just love if I get to spend my day next to you on the couch, as I grow in confidence my need to be glued to you may ease but it's safe to say I'm a little needy. My new family will also understand that my past life was quite neglected and as a result I have some skin issues which you can read about below.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm pretty low key in the energy department, I walk well on leash and like a daily stroll but am not interested in hanging at the dog park or running a marthon, instead choosing to spend my time just hanging with my humans.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I'm fine with all humans big and small but for the most part am quite indifferent to children, prefering the human that feeds her above all else.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Whilst currently living with other dogs and find with dogs out and about, I prefer to be the star of the show and tend to push other dogs out of the way of human attention. I haven't met any cats in foster care so probably best not to have one in the home.
Medical notes
Luna's past life was quite a neglected one and as a result she arrived with severe dental disease and chronic skin issues. Luna had 17 teeth removed upon arrival and a cytopoint injection to help with her itchy skin.
He new family will need to keep up with her dental health (dental chews and a good diet) as well as her skin health, it is likely that she will require ongoing cytopoint injections to hel ease her itches ongoing.

Please use these links rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
