About Maze
Maze loves her people and adores relaxing with them while having her ears massaged or tummy rubbed. Splashing in water and rolling on the grass in the sunshine are her other favourite pastimes.
Despite her size, Maze is a softie and a bit timid. She was quite scared of her new little Jack Russel friends when she first arrived in foster care! But after a few days they are great mates. Maze is looking for an owner who will give her gentle, kind introductions to anything new, including new people. She has quickly bonded with her foster family and is very loyal to them – if you want a new shadow, Maze is your girl!
During her few weeks in foster care Maze has learnt that the vacuum cleaner is not going to eat her, and that getting into the car is followed by the fun of sitting quietly in the back seat watching the world go by. Maze walks well on lead, and has learnt to sit and wait for her much-anticipated food.
A big girl of 45kg, Maze is best suited to someone who has experience with big dogs and can continue her training. She prefers someone who is home more often than not, but is fine to be left alone for a few hours at a time.
Maze is good with other dogs of all sizes (she currently lives with a small male dog in her foster home) but would also be ok as an only dog. She walks very well on leash and is housetrained.
