About Kodiak
This little bundle of fun is Kodiak and isn’t he just divine! He has a beautiful fluffy coat and his colouring is a show stopper. He is affectionate, playful and sure to entertain you for hours!
While in foster care, he has been living with another friendly, adult dog and has been loving having another dog around. Due to his age, he hasn’t had many chances to socialise outside of the house so will need a new owner committed to ensuring his socialisation is continued. It is important that she is given positive socialisation experiences with other dogs, ideally in the form of play dates with other friendly and appropriate dogs rather than at dog off lead areas where the other dogs are unknowns. Kodiak is expected to grow into a large dog who will require daily exercise to keep him happy and healthy throughout her life.
Kodiak is a very smart puppy who has begun basic training with his foster carers. He needs continued work on toilet training and being left alone as he still likes to have his people near him for comfort. He can be quite mouthy and bitey, but with proper guidance this puppy behaviour will be resolved in no time. He is currently living with children and will be fine to live with dog savvy children as long as they are ok with his mouthing until that has been trained out of him. He is also living with cats and after initial excitement has shown good potential to coexist in a family with cats.
We are looking for a dog experienced home for Kodiak where he will be a part of the family and included in the daily activities. He will need a home with someone home more often than not as he is a young puppy. He will be ok as either an only dog or with another friendly dog for company. Kodiak should be allowed inside to be with the family and will need to have a bed to sleep on inside at night. Kodiak would also like to be included on lots of fun adventures to new places and get lots of cuddles at home.
Kodiak the heartthrob is going to make you fall instantly in love with his exceptional temperament and looks. If you would like to make him a permanent member of your family, then please apply by completing a Dog Adoption Enquiry form on the Fetching Dogs website as the first step. Please include plenty of details about who is in your household, your previous dog experience and what sort of lifestyle you can offer Kodiak.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
