NOTE: You are unable to meet Jasper until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Jasper in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.


What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• I am a very active boy so I MUST go to an active family/lifestyle
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family
• A doggie playmate would be great, if not then lots of socializing with other dogs
• I arrived at the shelter as a stray so my history is unknown. Due to this, my interaction with cats that are free roaming in the house or yard is completely unknown. There can be no guarantee that I will be ok living with cats, so it is recommended that I don't go to a home that has them.
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• Lots of love and attention
• I am a little jack in the box and very agile - i would be a great candidate for agility etc.
• Doggy daycare and group socialization classes would be highly beneficial for me.

Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
• Cats or small animals as I may find them fun to chase

My best features:
• FULL of beans
• Very playful
• Highly food motivated & attentive
• I can sit on command
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans
• Happy to hang out & play with other friendly dogs
• I am clever and eager to learn so would love a family who will teach me some cool tricks.
• I LOVE toys
• Exuberant & full of beans
• I am such a fun and happy little boy, I will always put a smile on your face with my funny little antics.

Where I need to improve / Training required
• I will require further basic training so that I am the best behaved and mannered boy I can be
• I can be reactive on lead and through the fence to other dogs - further training and socialization recommended
• I am great when meeting most dogs, however I can be quite bossy when meeting particular dogs. I do settle but once again further socialization is highly recommended.
• I do pull on the lead and can be a little erratic at times - further on lead training recommended
