About Chilli - 8 Month Old Cattle Dog (Trial 28/7)
Meet Chilli - a beautiful purebred red cattle dog. Chilli is an extremely affectionate and smart little guy. Chilli loves to zoom, explore and play with his foster carers and his foster siblings. He has learnt to play well with his two large foster siblings, however, due to experiences prior to being rescued, he does need to be introduced to other dogs and people with care as he can be quite shy at first. Chilli would suit a calm older dog or would be fine as an only dog.
Chilli’s favourite things are a splash in his doggy pool, chew toys and playing fetch with his foster carers. He also loves a romp with his foster siblings, and shares his toys without issue.
Chilli has excellent recall and has learnt to sit well, and waits politely for his treats. Chilli is also crate trained and toilet trained. He has spent time on a property with cows, sheep and chickens. He shows no aggression towards the cows or sheep, however, ongoing training and supervision is recommended due to his young age.
Due to Chilli being a working dog breed, his forever family should have an active lifestyle and understand that he will need exercise and mental stimulation. The ideal home for Chilli would be super active with no children under 12 years old.
For more information on Chilli, please contact his foster carer on their email giorginna.xubat@gmail.com. Chilli is in foster care in Raymond Terrace, NSW and is available for adoption interstate. Chilli's adoption fee is $600 and he is desexed, has had his first vaccination, treated for fleas and worms and microchipped.
